5 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Yuli Gurriel is hitting .308 over his last seven games heading into the team's matchup with the Yankees on Saturday night. Gurriel has been asked to play multiple positions around the diamond due to injuries and this may be contributing to a power outage at the plate. Gurriel is slugging only .352 this month, .396 for the season and has hit only one home since May 23. At his best, Gurriel is a doubles machine who can drive in runs in the middle of the order. But he is slashing only .243/.293/.386 with runners in scoring position and currently is not a fantasy viable option in most fantasy formats.--Joey C - RotoBaller
