Yordan Alvarez Pulled From Friday's Lineup
4 months agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez (neck) has been scratched from the starting lineup ahead of Friday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. Alvarez is dealing with neck discomfort, so it sounds like a day-to-day type of issue. Fantasy managers should make sure to check their lineups and get Alvarez out on Friday. Alex Bregman will serve as the DH and bat second, while Chas McCormick covers left field and bats ninth versus lefty Cade Povich. Bregman is a must-start in all formats while McCormick can be avoided. McCormick is batting .193 with four home runs and 22 RBI this season. There should be better streaming options available on Friday.
