Tampa Bay Lightning forward Yanni Gourde registered the game-winning goal in Thursday's 3-1 victory over Carolina. Victor Hedman and goaltender Curtis McElhinney, who had 31 saves, helped him out with the assists. Mikhail Sergachev and Barclay Goodrow scored the rest of the goals. Gourde has nine points in 18 appearances and will carry some momentum into the next contest with points in back-to-back games.
