Both the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox have contacted free agent starting pitcher Kodai Senga's representatives, MLB Network's Jon Morosi tweeted Monday. The 29-year-old, who pitched in 11 seasons for Nippon Professional Baseball's Fukuoka Softbank Hawks, is an unrestricted free agent who is not attached to draft pick compensation. This will make Senga appealing to many other teams as well, but both the Yankees and Red Sox could add depth to their starting rotation. Senga compiled a 2.59 ERA and a 10.3 K/9 rate over more than 1,000 innings pitched in his time with the Hawks.--Connelly Doan - RotoBallerRead More News
