Yandy Diaz Heating Back Up
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays third baseman Yandy Diaz went 3-for-5 with an RBI from the leadoff spot Wednesday against the A's. After a bit of a slump and injury, he's back hitting .326 over the last two weeks with six runs scored, one home run, and three RBI over his last 46 at-bats. He's still above average in all statcast categories other than sprint speed, which points to continuing his breakout season. He can be rostered in deeper leagues once again and those in shallower leagues should keep an eye out or stash him on the bench for a good depth play. He's also a good stream against lefties who he's hit .349/.423/.603 against this season.
