Carolina Hurricanes left wing William Carrier (lower body) is expected to miss "at least a couple of months" following surgery. The power forward has already sat out 10 games, and it's likely we won't see him again until the final weeks of the regular season, assuming he returns at all before the playoffs. Carrier has recorded nine points (four goals, five assists) and 136 hits in 39 games during his first season in Carolina. Juha Jaaska has seen regular action during his absence. The Finnish forward has not provided any fantasy value, registering one assist in 11 games along with 14 hits.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
