The Chicago White Sox, who currently sit in last place in the American League Central, are in no hurry to rush outfield prospect Eloy Jimenez and pitching prospect Michael Kopech to the big leagues. It appears that the White Sox want to make sure that when Jimenez and Kopech are called up, that they are up for good. Jimenez is hitting a whopping .320 with seven home runs and 25 home runs in just 103 at-bats for Double-A Birmingham. Kopech has 44 strikeouts in 33 1/3 innings with a 4.86 ERA for Triple-A Charlotte. Both Kopech and Jimenez should be up at some point in 2018, but it is unlikely to happen as soon as expected.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
