Walker Jenkins Knocks First Triple-A Hit
Walker Jenkins tallied his first hit at the Triple-A level on Thursday evening. Facing Toledo, Jekins went 1-for-4 with a double and a walk. During his first two games at Triple-A earlier in the week, the top-ranked prospect in Minnesota went 0-for-8 with three strikeouts. The former fifth overall pick has spent the majority of the campaign with Double-A and held a strong .309/.426/.487 slash line with 11 doubles, seven home runs, and 11 stolen bases. While he has dealt with injuries at times throughout his minor league career, when on the field, Jenkins has flashed immense upside. Jenkins is not expected to be in the mix to debut in the majors this season, but if he can enjoy a strong conclusion to the season, he could be in the mix to reach Minnesota early in 2026.
