Walker Jenkins Homers, Gets on Base Four Times on Saturday
Walker Jenkins went 3-for-5 with a walk, a home run, three runs scored, and a stolen base on Saturday for Double-A Wichita. The Twins' top-ranked prospect is slashing .299/.411/.485 with five home runs and nine steals in 36 games for the Wind Surge this season. The 20-year-old missed much of the season with an ankle injury, which has also likely pushed his MLB debut until 2026. However, he should get some at-bats at Triple-A to finish out the season, and it could be a springboard for a fruitful fantasy campaign in the big leagues next year, bringing power and speed along with one of the best hit tools in the minors.
