1 week agoThe Minnesota Vikings Defense ended the season on a less-than-stellar note, allowing 27 points and a whopping 185 rushing yards in a 27-10 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers. They notched an interception, a fumble recovery, and two sacks, but they gave us chunk gains on the ground all day and lost the time of possession battle by almost 17 minutes. Tevin Coleman and Raheem Mostert did most of the damage as they combined for 163 rushing yards and two touchdowns. The Vikings banged-up secondary actually held up really well as they gave up just 131 passing yards, but it didn't matter with how the 49ers controlled the game early on. Expect some moves to be made to address the cornerback depth this offseason, while a few key players are at risk of being cap casualties due to the dire state of the Vikings' salary cap.--Kyle Ringstad - RotoBaller
