Uros Medic had his two-fight winning streak snapped in the main-card opener of UFC Vegas 82 when he suffered a second-round submission loss to UFC newcomer Myktybek Orolbai. Orolbai took the fight on less than a week's notice and grappled Medic early. Medic had a hard time dealing with the wrestling, as he allowed Orolbai to go 5-for-8 for takedowns in the first round and 2-for-2 in the second round. Ultimately, after being controlled with the grappling, Medic tapped out due to a neck crank. With the loss, Medic fell to 9-2 overall and 3-2 in the UFC, while also being 1-1 at welterweight after moving up to 170 pounds his last time out.--Cole Shelton
