6 months agoWinnipeg Jets winger Tyler Toffoli has been linked with a return to the Vancouver Canucks. The 32-year-old is a pending unrestricted free agent, and according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Canucks could bring back Toffoli if they fail to strike a deal with fellow free agent Jake Guentzel. Toffoli had a short 10-game stint in Vancouver four seasons ago, recording six goals and four assists. However, the team didn't attempt to re-sign him after Toffoli failed to keep up his productivity in the playoffs. The prolific winger split the 2023-24 campaign between New Jersey and Winnipeg, posting 33 goals and 55 points in 79 outings. With back-to-back 30-goal campaigns under his belt, Toffoli should receive more than one offer in free agency.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
