Tyler Skaggs Hopes to Only Miss One Start
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Tyler Skaggs (hip) said his injury is the same one he had last month and hopes to only miss one start and start against the Mariners next week. Skaggs missed one start when he had the injury earlier in the season, and even if he does not get back in time for Seattle next week, Skaggs should be back before the All-Star break. Skaggs is having a career year so far with a 2.64 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 100 strikeouts in 92 innings across 16 starts. Skaggs can be inserted into lineups when he does return. There should be an update on his status as the new week rolls over.
