Ty Gibbs Might Pay Off Well For DFS Lineups At Atlanta
1 month agoIn qualifying for Sunday's Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Ty Gibbs of Joe Gibbs Racing will start 20th. This will be the third start for Gibbs at Atlanta in the Cup Series, where he will begin the race outside of the Top 10. In three Cup starts at Atlanta, Gibbs has two top-10 finishes, including 10th in the February race earlier in the season. The No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing driver also is a former Xfinity Series winner at AMS. In 26 races this year, Gibbs has 11 top-10 finishes, including two top-5s in the last three Cup events. Gibbs was solid at superspeedway tracks this year with three top-20 finishes, including two top-10 results in four starts at the track type. With great equipment from his team and adequate upside from his starting position, Gibbs is a driver who to consider for all formats at Atlanta.
