3 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles offense couldn’t muster up much in the 8-3 loss to the Yankees on Tuesday. The top four hitters in the lineup went 1-for-18 at the plate, while the bottom of the order did the bulk of the damage. Outfielders Trey Mancini and Joey Rickard led the way, hitting a combined 5-for-7 with two RBI. Rickard doesn’t see regular playing time -- he is a platoon player for Baltimore. However, he is riding a four-game hitting streak and has hit atop this potent lineup before. Mancini has traded off hot and cold streaks this season and had been cold over his past few games, so we may see another wave of offense from the young utility player.--Ben Ruppert - RotoBaller
