Trey Lance Held Without A Touchdown In Week 5 Debut
Trey Lance completed 15 of 29 pass attempts for 192 yards and an interception, adding 16 carries for 89 yards on the ground during Sunday's 17-10 Week 5 loss against the Arizona Cardinals. Lance failed to score a touchdown in his debut and threw an interception, getting stood up on a goal-line rushing attempt and facing continuous pressure in the pocket. The rookie was impressive as a ball carrier, using his speed and size to average 5.5 YPC. The 49ers will head into their Bye Week on a three-game losing streak with no promises that Lance will return under center for their return in Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts.
