New Jersey Devils left wing Timo Meier tallied three points during their 5-4 overtime victory over the Boston Bruins on Tuesday evening. Meier opened the scoring in the first period on a slap shot. In the second, he would tally the secondary assist on Stefan Noesen's power-play goal. Then, in overtime, Meier would add his second secondary assist on Brian Dumoulin's game-winner. Over his last five games, Meier has been productive on the scoresheet, tallying six points (four goals). Before this recent surge, the 28-year-old was in a bit of a slump, tallying just two points (all goals) over his last seven contests. Through 80 games this season, Meier has found the back of the net 26 times and added 27 helpers. He is a strong option in DFS on Wednesday evening, facing the Detroit Red Wings.--Andy Smith
