Tim Anderson Dealing With An Illness, Remains Out On Saturday
8 months agoMiami Marlins shortstop Tim Anderson (illness) is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Atlanta Braves. He also missed Friday's contest against the Braves and remains under the weather. The 30-year-old is considered day-to-day, with the series finale on Sunday being the next chance for him to return to the lineup. Anderson is slashing .280/.308/.300 with a double, two stolen bases, and four runs scored over 13 games this season. Vidal Brujan will replace Anderson again at shortstop and is batting ninth in Saturday's game. Brujan has not logged a hit over 16 plate appearances this season, and fantasy managers can avoid using him as a streamer in most leagues.
