Tiger Woods Fails To Find Putting Stroke In Mexico
6 years agoTiger Woods logged a T10 finish in his WGC-Mexico Championship debut. His tournament was highlighted by a beautiful second-round 66 on Friday. Woods was unable to keep things going over the weekend and played his final 36 holes in three-under par. His iron game was extremely sharp and he ranked first in the WGC field in strokes gained: approach, but his putter let him down in crucial situations and he finished just 38th in the field in strokes gained: putting. It was another encouraging performance from the 14-time major champion, who continues to post solid finishes despite not having his game firing on all cylinders. He will skip the upcoming Honda Classic and next tee it up in the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
