1 year agoNew York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit has become something of a legend in his brief stint in the Bronx, as he's become a home run-hitting menace, imposing his will in a takeover of the starting first base job. On Wednesday night, the 27-year-old made his postseason debut and came up huge late. In the sixth inning, with the Yankees holding a three-run lead and two men on, Voit drilled a bases-clearing triple, putting the game out of reach. It was his lone hit of the game, and his first career triple, but one of the biggest as the Yankees won the Wild Card game for a second consecutive year.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
