Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko (lower body) has been confirmed as the starter for Monday's matchup against the New Jersey Devils. He will make his long-awaited comeback after missing 15 games due to a lower-body injury. Inconsistency has been an issue for Demko in 2024-25, as he has posted a 6-6-3 record. The 29-year-old boasts one shutout and has allowed 2.87 goals with a .891 save percentage. The Canucks will have Demko back on Monday, but they have lost Elias Pettersson (undisclosed) and Nils Hoglander (undisclosed) up front, which complicates their life against New Jersey.--Taavi Pailk
