4 months agoVancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko (knee) will reportedly not be ready for training camp or preseason, according to CHEK's Rick Dhaliwal and Thomas Drance of The Athletic. Demko is also considered questionable for the regular-season opener on Oct. 9 versus Calgary, but the team hopes to have him available by then. The Canucks No. 1 continues to rehab a knee injury, which limited him to only one playoff appearance last season. Arturs Silovs did a good job filling in for him. Fantasy managers should have him on their radar in case Demko remains on the shelf for the start of the season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
