5 years agoThe Houston Texans agreed to a four-year contract extension with kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn on Tuesday, according to league sources. The deal is worth $17.65 million and includes $9 million fully guaranteed with $10.45 million over the next two years. Fairbairn made 80 percent (20 of 25) of his field goals last year, which ranked 20th in the NFL. He struggled with extra points early on but missed just one of his 27 tries to end the season. The 26-year-old has been the team's kicker since 2017 and has made 83.7 percent (77-for-92) of his field-goal tries in three seasons with Houston. He's made 91.7 percent of his extra-point attempts and will be a midrange fantasy kicker again in 2020.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
