Stuart Skinner Shuts Out Sharks With 25 Saves
12 months agoEdmonton Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner was perfect with his work in Thursday's matchup against San Jose, posting a 25-save shutout in a 5-0 win. After also keeping Washington from scoring on Nov. 23, Skinner can celebrate having multiple shutouts in a season for the first time in his career. Following a horrible start to 2023-24, the 25-year-old has managed to post respectable numbers this month. He has won five of seven starts in December with a 2.32 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage. Skinner's overall record reads 13-9-1, and he has allowed 2.91 goals while registering a .891 save percentage.
