Nashville Predators forward Steven Stamkos (undisclosed) is likely to play against Washington on Saturday. The veteran star left Tuesday's matchup against Winnipeg early due to an undisclosed ailment, but Stamkos participated in Saturday's morning skate. After the session, he told Alex Daugherty of The Tennessean that he's "back to normal and good to go." Stamkos' debut campaign in Music City has been full of frustration, but he has found some form lately. The former Lightning captain has averaged close to a point per game in his past 13 outings. For the season overall, Stamkos is sporting 25 points (12 goals, 13 assists) in 41 appearances. He will continue to operate as the first-line center between Filip Forsberg and Jonathan Marchessault.--Taavi Pailk
