Stephen Strasburg Receives Neck Injection On Thursday

Washington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg (neck) received an injection on Thursday in hopes of solving his neck problems. The team will wait 72 hours before making a decision on if he could resume his throwing program. Strasburg was able to make just one start before returning to the disabled list with his neck issue earlier this month. If the injection works, Strasburg would be on the fast track to the major leagues. However, it's still unknown on when he will be able to return to the mound.
