Stephen Strasburg Delivers Quality Outing In Win
5 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg pitched six strong innings of two-run baseball in the Nationals convincing 12-3 win over the Astros in Game 2 of the World Series. After allowing a two-run home run to Alex Bregman in the first inning, Strasburg shut down a potent Astros offense. He struck out seven batters and worked around several jams through 114 pitches. The right-handed hurler now is 4-0 this postseason with a 1.94 ERA as the Nationals take a commanding 2-0 series lead back to Washington.
