Stephen Curry 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoGolden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has a lot of much-deserved hype around him for this upcoming season and there is no reason he shouldn’t. With Kevin Durant headed to Brooklyn and Klay Thompson expected to not return until after the All-Star break, will we see him return to fantasy elite? There are arguments for both sides. There is the side that he may get ‘load managed’ this season with the Warriors possibly not being a contender and that the Warriors have gone to the finals for the past five consecutive seasons. Or, there is the side that he will he be getting up 25-30 shots a night and become fantasy’s top player once again. Both of these scenarios are possible, but, if you draft Curry expecting something in the middle of these two, then you will still be getting a top-five player that will singlehandedly win you three’s and have a massive influence on other categories. You cannot lose taking him anywhere in the top-five of drafts in any format this season.
