Si Woo Kim Looking To Bounce Back At St. Jude Championship
8 months agoThings have been less than ideal over the past two months for Si Woo Kim. The South Korean hasn't recorded a top 25 since before the U.S. Open and is coming off a missed cut at the Wyndham Championship. The problem has been on and around the greens, losing strokes putting over his last three starts and around the green in three of the past four. The flat stick has been his undoing for much of the season, but luckily for him, it isn't the most important stat at TPC Southwind. Getting the short game under control is the bigger issue, though ranking 37th on the season in strokes gained around the green (+0.219) will hopefully lead to brighter days as he pushes to make the Tour Championship for the third time in his career. At $8,600 on FanDuel, consider him a high-floor, low-ceiling option.

Si Woo Kim Looks To Keep Building Momentum At The PLAYERS
3 weeks agoWith four top-25 finishes, Si Woo Kim has had a solid start to the 2025 season. This past week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, he finished T-19. His best finish was at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where he placed 12th. TPC Sawgrass is a venue where he has seen success with a victory back in 2017, where he won by three shots. The key to success at the stadium course is accuracy off the tee and precision with the short and mid irons. Kim ranks 24th in driving accuracy and 50th in strokes gained approach to green. After finishing T-6 in last year's PLAYERS championship, he is bound to contend again this week. He is a strong play in DFS at his $9,200 price tag.

Si Woo Kim A Value Play At Genesis Invitational
2 months agoSi Woo Kim will likely be a popular golfer for fantasy managers this week, and rightfully so. The 29-year-old South Korean is coming off a 12th-place showing at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and a T21 at the WM Phoenix Open, and he also notched a T6 result at the Zozo Championship during the Fall Swing. The four-time PGA Tour winner could be in line another solid week at Torrey Pines, as he ranks 17th in good drive percentage, 15th on approach from 175-225 yards, 21st around-the-green, 17th in birdie-or-better percentage, and fourth in par 5 scoring over the last 36 rounds. While Kim did miss the cut at Torrey Pines at the Farmers Insurance Open three weeks ago, fantasy managers should look to capitalize on his $7,100 DraftKings salary at the Genesis Invitational.

Si Woo Kim Showing Some Form Heading Into Phoenix
2 months agoIt's been a rough go of things for Si Woo Kim in recent starts before a 12th-place finish at Pebble Beach last week. His efforts gained strokes in all metrics, which should give him momentum heading to TPC Scottsdale, where Kim has a long competition history (making his 10th career appearance). It's a shame his record there is as poor as it is, with only one top 15. This layout seems ripe for how the South Korean plays the game, so he could add another one this week should the good form hang around.

Si Woo Kim Not Off To A Good 2025 Start
2 months agoSi Woo Kim has high standards for a golfer. The South Korean golfer has missed a cut so far in 2025 and has not been a factor in three events. This is a golfer that has won four times on the PGA Tour. Kim skipped the Farmers Insurance Open in 2024 but had consecutive Top 25 results previously. Kim's best results from 2024 was a tie for fifth at the BMW Championship in August. This season has been more of the same for Kim. The overall numbers are pretty good until one gets to putting. That is where Kim has fallen off slightly below average (140th in 2024 at -0.218). Kim is getting around 70% of his shots on the green regularly but that number was 65.4% in 2024. That is a concern at Torrey Pines where approaches are essential.
