10 months agoRFK Racing driver Chris Buescher will start this week's Cup race at Atlanta from the seventh position. In four races at Atlanta since the track's reconfiguration in 2022, Buescher has one top-10 finish. The driver of the No. 17 Ford also led multiple laps in the last two Atlanta Cup events including the second-most laps of the July 2023 race (39). During last week's Daytona 500, Buescher placed 18th after starting 19th, his second straight finish outside of the Top 10 at a drafting track since winning at Daytona last August. Although RFK Racing is normally strong at drafting tracks, Buescher's history at Atlanta is particularly mixed. Therefore, DFS players should be wary of rostering Buescher despite showing speed through qualifying due to his inconsistency at AMS.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
