In qualifying for this week's Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway, Austin Cindric obtained a starting position of 18th. This will be the fourth time in Cindric's Cup career that he will start inside the Top 20 at Richmond. Through six previous starts at the site, Cindric has two top-20 finishes and four finishes with positive Place Differential. In 22 races so far in 2024, Cindric has 11 top-20 finishes, including each of the last five Cup events. In practice, Cindric ranked 32nd in overall lap averages but displayed top-20 speeds in the 25 and 30-consecutive lap average categories.
