Shohei Ohtani Slumping At The Dish
5 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani is in the midst of a 3-for-25 (.120) slump as the final month of the season gets into full swing. Ohtani has been relegated to DH duties all season as he recovers from Tommy John surgery. He has, however, proven to the rest of the league that he can handle the bat. But after slugging .571 in the first half of the season, Ohtani has been suffering from a power outage at the plate. Over his last 155 at-bats, Ohtani only has two home runs and is slugging .400 during that span. The fact that Ohtani only gets a DH position in fantasy limits his value. But he could help rosters if he can break out his slump in the next week or so.
