Shed Long Jr. Back In Leadoff Spot On Friday
4 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman Shed Long Jr. began the year as the team's primary leadoff hitter, but his struggles prompted the team to move him down in the order. Since that demotion, he's started to turn a corner. In his past nine games, he's gone 9-for-32 with a home run and two doubles. Long is a legitimate base stealing threat with three stolen bases on the year already. He also has some power potential so if he can put it all together and remain at the top of the Mariners lineup, he could be a valuable fantasy asset.
