The San Jose Sharks have signed Will Smith, the No. 4 pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, to an entry-level contract. He's set to begin his professional career next season, following a dominant campaign with Boston College. Smith, who turned 19 in March, had 71 points (25 goals, 46 assists) in 41 games with the Eagles, earning a host of honors, including the Hockey East tournament MVP award. He has also helped the United States win gold medals at the 2023 World U18 Championships and 2024 World Junior Championships. The Sharks are desperate for some offensive talent, and Smith figures to play a prominent role for the team right off the bat in 2024-25.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerRead More News
