7/5:New York Mets pitcher Seth Lugo was recently switched back from the starting rotation to the bullpen, but he’s not letting that stop him from picking up victories. In a 6-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday, Lugo pitched three innings in relief, earning the win after allowing one earned run on three hits. He struck out a pair and didn’t issue any walks. It’s been a weird season for Lugo, who dominated out of the bullpen early, switched to the starting rotation and looked even better, then started to get rocked and has now found success in the bullpen again. Realistically, he’s not likely to pick up many wins, but assuming he continues to pitch well, he could be a decent source of holds if the Mets can score a few runs to pick up a lead.--John Smith
