As bizarre of a season as Satoshi Kodaira has had in 2018, it has been equally as impressive. The Japanese golfer has only made 8 of 17 PGA Tour cuts on the season but has provided a win at the RBC Heritage in April and made three of four major championship cuts. Unfortunately, on the flip side of things, the 28-year-old has only produced one other top-25 performance outside of his victory and has fallen into 85th place in the yearly FedExCup standings. Kodaira has never competed before at TPC Boston and is currently at risk of elimination if he can't get himself into the top 70 of the standings before the Dell Technologies Championship comes to an end. It seems likely that the 43rd-ranked golfer in the world is going to have his season conclude this week in Massachusetts, but maybe Kodaira can provide magic one more time and keep himself alive for another week. --Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
