After two years out of the Octagon, Santiago Ponzinibbio (27-4) did not get the return he wanted on Saturday night, suffering a first-round knockout at the hands of opponent, Jingliang Li. Starting out the contest appearing to have Octagon rust, Ponzinibbio was unable to work it off as Li kept the pressure on and secured the TKO stoppage just 4:25 into the bout. Prior to the loss, Ponzinibbio had won his last six bouts in a row, three of them by first-round knockout. If Gente Boa can remain active, we should see a quick improvement in his performance, making him a rosterable fighter in the future.--Matt Bricker
