5/24:On Thursday, Evander Kane officially re-signed with the San Jose Sharks on a seven-year deal. According to the Sharks general manager, "At only 26 years old, Evander has established himself as one of hockey's true power forwards and an impact player. We think his abilities mesh perfectly with our group of skilled, young players and veteran leaders." Acquired from the Buffalo Sabers at the trade deadline, he played 17 regular season games he played with the Sharks and managed to find 14 points (nine goals, five assists). He also showed that he could perform in the playoffs, putting up five points (four goals, one assist) in nine postseason games. Kane will be a valuable asset in San Jose and he is excited "to be part of a winning environment again."--Anthony Vattimo - RotoBaller
