Sam Ryder is scheduled to appear in the upcoming Houston Open. Ryder is fresh off a solid T18 effort at last week's Shriners Hospitals for Children Open where he gained over five strokes on approach shots. The 29-year-old will feel comfortable at the Golf Club of Houston, a layout where he recorded a fifth-place finish in last year's edition of the Houston Open. Ryder has sandwiched two missed cuts between strong outings during the fall season and must be considered a boom-or-bust option this week.
