New York Rangers forward Ryan Spooner scored his first goal of the season in Sunday's 4-3 road loss to the Kings. Anthony DeAngelo and Brady Skjei had the assists when Spooner made it 3-3 late in the game, but there was still enough time for the Kings to end their six-game skid. After logging less than 10 minutes in consecutive games, Spooner's minutes were up to 14:27 and he made good use of them, recording two shots in total and one hit. It's been a bit of a bizarre story with Spooner, as he had a great run at the Big Apple near the end of 2017-18 after arriving from Boston, picking up 16 points in 20 games, but he's sitting on only two points in 10 games this season. He's not a reliable fantasy player at the moment.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
