Ryan O'Hearn Homers In First MLB Game
6 years agoKansas City Royals designated hitter Ryan O'Hearn finally got the call on Tuesday to play in his first big league game, and he showed off for his family by launching a home run in his premiere. O'Hearn is a traditional big power/low average type of first baseman who is still a bit of a wild card. In 2017, he jacked 22 home runs in just under 500 at-bats across two levels of the minors, and then he went bonkers in spring training this year, hitting five home runs. Unfortunately, he's then struggled a bit this year in Triple-A, hitting just 11 home runs in 353 at-bats. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on him because if his promotion results in a little fix, he could put up prodigious power in a short period of time.
