8/1:Kansas City Royals designated hitter Ryan O'Hearn finally got the call on Tuesday to play in his first big league game, and he showed off for his family by launching a home run in his premiere. O'Hearn is a traditional big power/low average type of first baseman who is still a bit of a wild card. In 2017, he jacked 22 home runs in just under 500 at-bats across two levels of the minors, and then he went bonkers in spring training this year, hitting five home runs. Unfortunately, he's then struggled a bit this year in Triple-A, hitting just 11 home runs in 353 at-bats. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on him because if his promotion results in a little fix, he could put up prodigious power in a short period of time.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
