4 years agoColorado Rockies second baseman Ryan McMahon will head to the bench for Tuesday's game against the San Francisco Giants. Chris Owings will get the start at second base and hit eighth in the game. This will be McMahon's first day off of the season. McMahon is off to a decent start to the year, slashing .242/.316/.424 with one home run, five RBI and six runs. He's striking out at a much higher clip this year (42.1%) than he did last year (29.7%), but owners of McMahon still have to be happy with the regular playing time and adequate results. He deserves to be rostered in all NL-only leagues and most deep leagues.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
