Ryan Blaney qualified 17th for the Grant Park 220. Unfortunately, the Team Penske Ford has not been a factor on road courses lately. Five results outside 20th does not inspire much hope. Even the race at Indy last year saw Blaney lead 17 laps before problems arose. The only silver lining is that this is Blaney's first start inside 20th on a road course in 2023. Maybe, the hope for a little race attrition or differing pit strategy helps. However, the driver could have a rough Sunday based on lack of speed (91.296 seconds after lap five).--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
