6 months agoDenver Broncos running back Royce Freeman struggled with solid volume on Monday night, as he received 10 carries compared to lead back Phillip Lindsay's 11. Freeman posted 56 yards on his 10 looks, highlighted by a 26-yard carry late in the game. While his stats look like he outperformed Lindsay, outside of the 26-yard run, Freeman had very little going for him versus the Oakland Raiders. That, combined with the fact that he had very minimal impact in the receiving game -- one catch for five yards -- makes it hard to justify starting Freeman in most leagues for Week 2 in a tough draw against the Bears.--Matthew McGough - RotoBaller
