7/10:Kansas City Royals outfielder Rosell Herrera is sitting at a five-game hit streak after slapping a single against Minnesota on Monday. Unfortunately, Herrera would then get picked off first, though the instant replay seemed to clearly show that he had slid back in safely. Upon review, the call wasn't overturned, so Herrera's basepath woes continue. The speedy 25-year-old is vying for more playing time in the future in KC, but he's been a disaster on the basepaths as he's been caught stealing on his last three attempts as well as picked off. Herrera has some serious potential and there's a void of young talent in KC, but he'll need to work on his awareness to continue to be a major league base stealer.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
