5 months agoBrooklyn Nets forward Rodions Kurucs outlook for this upcoming season is a hard one to read. News was released on September 3rd that the 2018 second-round pick had been accused of physically assaulting his former girlfriend. Nets' GM, Sean Marks has stated that the Nets will "definitely let [the situation] play out in court". Coming off a surprising solid rookie campaign, things are not looking so great Kurucs at the moment. He proved to be a more than capable stretch four as he averaged 8.5 points with 0.9 makes from three in just 20.5 minutes a night across 63 games last season in which he started 46 of those contests. If you are drafting in your league anytime soon and there is not any progression on this situation, he is best probably to not draft. If you are in a deeper league, he is worth a gamble in the later rounds hoping things go in his favor, legally. Either way, Taurean Prince and even possibly Jarrett Allen will soak up the minutes at the four until this situation plays out.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBaller
