Robinson Cano Has Great Value For Final Games
6 years agoSeattle Mariners infielder Robinson Cano went 1-for-4 on Wednesday against the A's. The Mariners have been eliminated from playoff contention but Cano continues to be white-hot at the plate. He now has an eight-game hitting streak and is 16-for-33 (.484) during the streak. Seven of those hits have gone for extra bases and is finishing up the season strong. It would be typical for veterans to sit out the final games of the season once a team is eliminated. But Cano has been on the shelf most of the season due to his 80-game suspension so there is little reason to sit the former All-Star. Cano is a fantastic play in DFS for the final weekend.
