Robbie Ray On Track to Begin Rehab Assignment Thursday
7 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Robbie Ray (oblique) is on track to pitch in High-A Visalia on Thursday after throwing a bullpen session Monday. Ray has been out since April 29 with an oblique strain and will need multiple rehab assignments before he makes his return. It is possible for Ray to return in June if his rehab outings all go well. Ray got off to a slow start this season and sits at a 4.88 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 45 strikeouts over his first 27 2/3 innings. Owners should only have a few weeks of waiting left to get their stud pitcher back.
