Rick Porcello Allows Four Runs
6 years agoBoston Red Sox Starting pitcher Rick Porcello allowed four runs over six innings against the Rays on Friday. He also allowed eight hits and struck out four on the night. Fantasy owners have been looking for a bit more from Porcello, but haven't quite got what they paid for in fantasy drafts. However, he is one of the most consistent inning eaters in baseball, which gives him value above just his baseline stats. He's allowed three or more runs in his last three starts but is a good option next time against the Rangers. Hang on to him for the likely 200 innings he'll give your fantasy team and start him against mid-tier or weaker lineups.
