Cincinnati Reds right-hander Rhett Lowder (forearm, oblique) is "going to start throwing this week" but will "need a pretty big buildup," according to Reds manager Terry Francona. MLB.com reports that the team is hopeful that Lowder will return for the Arizona Fall League and/or have a "semi-normal winter." A right forearm strain delayed Lowder's start to the season, and an oblique strain suffered in late May has kept him out even further. The 23-year-old made his major league debut in 2024, pitching to a 1.17 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with 22 strikeouts in 30 2/3 innings (six starts). Lowder will remain off the fantasy radar in 2025, but he's a dynasty-league stash and a name for re-draft managers to monitor heading into 2026.--Will Brady
